Hong Jin-young Donates 5,000 Masks to Help Prevent the Spread of Novel Coronavirus
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Trot singer Hong Jin-young donated masks to prevent further damage from the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
According to her agency IMH Entertainment on the 31st, Hong Jin-young donated over 5,000 masks to the Police Human Resources Development Institute in Asan, Chungnam, and the Incheon Community Chest of Korea.
At the Asan Police Human Resources Development Institute, which is being used as a temporary shelter for evacuees from Wuhan, the masks donated by Hong Jin-young will be distributed to local evacuees who arrived from Wuhan by chartered flight and to medical staff working in the quarantine facility.
The masks donated by Hong Jin-young are KF94 grade masks, which can protect the respiratory system from yellow dust, fine dust, harmful substances, and novel flu.

Meanwhile, among the 368 evacuees who returned from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China on the same day, 18 were found to have symptoms such as fever. These evacuees were immediately moved to isolation wards upon arrival.
