According to the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family on the 30th, the Danuri Call Center provides interpretation services through three-way calls when reports related to the novel coronavirus are received by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. When consultation inquiries related to the virus come to the Danuri Call Center, interpretation is provided between the caller and the CDC.
Additionally, to ensure marriage immigrants can receive preventive guidelines written in their native languages, the center utilizes mobile text messages, social networking services (SNS), and self-help groups for effective communication.
For the childcare service, all caregivers and user families are informed about 'Infectious Disease Prevention Guidelines and Response Measures.' Guidelines have been established and communicated to suspend activities if the caregiver or their family has visited China.
In cases where daycare centers, kindergartens, or elementary schools close temporarily, government support for usage fees will be permitted, and procedures will be improved to allow immediate service use. The current system, which takes up to two weeks, will be changed to enable instant access.
Furthermore, nationwide youth-related institutions and facilities are being provided with preventive guidelines and response measures for the novel coronavirus infection, and training for staff and youth users is being strengthened through in-house education.
In particular, before conducting group activity programs involving many participants, a 'Self-Check Card' will be sent via email to pre-screen participants who may have virus infection concerns, advising them to refrain from attending the event.
