View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it held a kickoff briefing for the 'Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Project' on the 29th at the county office's Disaster Comprehensive Situation Room, attended by more than 20 officials from related organizations including Jeollanam-do, Jeollanam-do Provincial Police Agency, and the Fire Headquarters.
The county was selected last year for the Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Project promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, becoming the first county-level unit in Jeollanam-do to undertake the project, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of April.
The 'Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Project' is a project that provides real-time video from Wando-gun CCTV Integrated Control Center around the incident site to the police station 112 Situation Room, fire station 119 Situation Room, military units, and the Coast Guard Situation Room when various incidents or accidents occur.
Upon completion of the project, a cooperative system among related organizations will be established, enabling rapid on-site dispatch, situation assessment, and response, which is expected to play a significant role in protecting residents' safety and valuable property.
Additionally, Wando-gun is promoting a project linked with the integrated platform infrastructure project to establish a real-time drone video system among related organizations.
