[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Yoseop] On the 29th, Busan Regional Customs Office held a 'Bonded Cargo Management and Bonded Transportation Procedure Briefing' at the Busan Customs New Port Office, attended by about 60 bonded cargo managers and practitioners from bonded areas and companies located in the Free Trade Zone within the New Port jurisdiction.
This briefing was organized to actively identify common violations of customs laws frequently committed by small and medium-sized enterprises due to mistakes, and to prevent companies from repeating such violations.
The briefing covered frequently occurring customs law violations such as the expiration of the domestic cargo storage period and explanations of the revised regulations related to the bonded warehouse zone amended this year.
The Busan Regional Customs Office particularly explained cases where bonded transportation applicants were inaccurately reported during bonded transportation between bonded factories (Free Trade Zone) and bonded transportation of goods exported abroad from the Free Trade Zone, such as being mistakenly reported as bonded warehouses or freight forwarders, and listened to various opinions from companies regarding this matter.
