Samsung SDS Ranks 11th in Global IT Services Company Brand Value
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Samsung SDS announced on the 28th that it ranked 11th, one step higher than the previous year, in the IT service company brand value evaluation conducted by the UK global brand consulting firm 'Brand Finance.'
Brand Finance introduced Samsung SDS as one of the two companies among the top 25 global IT service companies whose ranking rose, with its brand value increasing by 7% from the previous year to $3.7 billion (4.3 trillion KRW).
Brand Finance cited Samsung SDS's brand value growth factors as growth rates exceeding the IT service market average, strengthening business competitiveness based on advanced IT technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, 5G, and cloud, as well as strategic investments and partnerships with global companies.
Im Soo-hyun, Chief Strategy Officer (Vice President) of Samsung SDS, said in an interview with Brand Finance, “In the current market situation where digital innovation is accelerating, we plan to actively utilize new IT technologies to support customers' digital transformation.”
