KSD to Hold 'Electronic Voting Practical Training' for Issuing Companies on the 6th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Korea Securities Depository announced on the 20th that it will hold the '2020 Electronic Voting Practical Training' on the 6th of next month at the seminar room of its Seoul office.
This practical training is held to enhance the understanding of electronic voting practices for issuing company representatives in preparation for the 2020 general shareholders' meetings and to support the smooth operation of the shareholders' meetings. The training content consists of an overview of the electronic voting system, issuing company manuals and screen demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and operation of consultation booths.
A representative from the Korea Securities Depository stated, "We will provide more detailed educational content and expand individual consultation booths compared to the previous year."
From this year, based on the expertise and work know-how of the Korea Securities Depository's consultation personnel, consultation booths will be operated to serve as a direct communication platform with issuing company representatives.
Issuing company representatives who wish to participate in the practical training must refer to the electronic voting system website and submit an online application form on the website by the 31st.
