Police Book Former Jeondaehyeop Member for Distributing "Moon Jae-in Dictatorship Regime" Flyers
[Asia Economy Reporter Shinwon Yoon] A member of a conservative university student group who distributed leaflets condemning the Moon Jae-in administration has been booked by the police.
On the 10th, according to the Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul, a man in his 30s named Kim, affiliated with the National University Student Representatives Council (Jeondaehyeop), was booked and is under investigation on charges of trespassing and violating the Minor Offenses Act.
Kim is accused of entering the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, around 4 p.m. that day and distributing hundreds of leaflets.
The leaflet titled "The Moon Jae-in Dictatorial Regime Must Immediately Stop Suppressing Democratization," distributed by Kim, stated, "The democracy spoken of by the Moon Jae-in government was dictatorial, unconstitutional people's democracy," and "To resist dictatorship and oppression, I risk punishment and distribute leaflets again."
