According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the 3rd, on Saturday the 4th, groups demanding the release of former President Park Geun-hye will hold rallies around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
The 'Release Movement Headquarters' will hold a rally from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in all lanes in the direction in front of Exit 4 of Seoul Station, then march to Gwanghwamun Square to continue the rally. About ten groups, including the 'Moon Jae-in Resignation National Struggle Headquarters (Beomtu-bon),' will also hold rallies around Gwanghwamun Square and then march toward Sejong-daero, Jongno, and Jahamun-ro.
On the same day, a rally supporting former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk and demanding prosecution reform will be held around the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in Seocho-dong, Seoul. From 4 p.m., flexible traffic control will be implemented, and general vehicles and route buses passing through the area may be restricted depending on the situation, with bus routes temporarily adjusted.
A police official said, "Traffic congestion and inconvenience are expected in downtown and major roads," and urged, "Please use public transportation such as the subway, and if you must drive, try to avoid congested areas."
