Announcement of the 7 Major Projects for 'Naju Development Season 2'

The 7 major projects are ▲ Preparation for designation of Geumseongsan Provincial Park (creating a complete citizen’s forest) ▲ Presenting a comprehensive vision for the Yeongsan River (diagnosing environmental and ecological issues and preparing countermeasures) ▲ Discussion on relocating LG Chem Naju Plant (pursuing a ‘win-win’ between the company and local community) ▲ Electrification of the Gyeongjeon Line and establishment of a Naju circulation plan for Gwangju Urban Railway Line 2 ▲ Operation of village-tailored culture and arts support centers ▲ Implementation of a Naju-type autonomous decentralization policy model to proclaim a ‘Special Autonomous Decentralization City’ ▲ Establishment of governance involving citizens from all walks of life to resolve conflicts and discord within the region.
