View original imageAccording to Charancha on May 18, the overhaul is characterized by placing the core services most frequently used by customers at the forefront and significantly upgrading the search capabilities.
Charancha improved service efficiency by removing low-engagement content and restructuring the platform around "Buy My Car" and "Sell My Car" for greater intuitiveness. The company also unified previously separated vehicle model exploration and condition-based search flows into a single process, thereby improving access to listings.
In particular, a new "natural language search" feature was introduced, allowing users to quickly find listings without setting complex criteria. For users less familiar with vehicles, the platform now offers detailed model images, grade grouping, and expanded search options for body types.
The vehicle detail page and information verification environment have also been significantly improved. Through features such as short-form video display, curated recommendations, and photo zoom, users can now quickly assess vehicle condition and key information. Essential elements for used car purchases—such as performance inspections, insurance history, and registration details—are now organized in a user-friendly structure.
Additionally, platform optimization has resulted in faster performance and enhanced service stability. By transitioning to a "responsive platform" that provides a consistent interface across various devices, Charancha has established a foundation to swiftly accommodate future customer needs.
