This year’s event was held from May 14 to May 17 (local time) at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany. Despite challenging conditions such as a 25 km track with over 170 corners and steep elevation changes, Korea Competition demonstrated a stable race strategy and made its presence known. Nicknamed the “Green Hell,” this race ranks teams based on the total number of laps completed during a continuous 24-hour drive, requiring both vehicle durability and exceptional team management capabilities.
The team’s race car, the Porsche 992 GT3 R, was outfitted with Ventus, the high-performance racing tire brand of Hankook Tire & Technology. Ventus provided stable grip and durability even under prolonged high-load driving, supporting the team’s race strategy. The team has continuously enhanced its competitiveness by using real race data to optimize vehicle setups and tire management.
Founded in 2009, Korea Competition is a top-tier team with seven overall championships in the Superrace Championship 6000 class in Korea. In 2023, the team achieved a triple crown and overall season victory in the 24H SERIES European competition, winning the GT European Trophy, GT4 Class, and GT4 Driver’s Championship.
