NC: "Lihuhu to Release 20 New Titles Annually... JustPlay Revenue Also Reflected"
NC Holds Q1 Earnings Conference Call
JustPlay Revenue to Be Reflected Starting in Q2
Lihuhu, the mobile casual gaming subsidiary of NC, is set to release at least 20 games this year.
Hong Wonjun, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NC, stated during the first quarter earnings conference call held on May 13, "Lihuhu is aiming to launch around 20 new titles annually at a minimum."
He further explained, "Since the core principle of the mobile casual business is to select and focus according to the situation, only one to two games per quarter will receive intensive marketing efforts. Other studios are expected to operate in a similar manner."
At the end of last year, NC acquired Vietnam-based Lihuhu and the domestic studio SpringComz, and in March of this year, it acquired the German game developer JustPlay. For the first time, revenues from Lihuhu and SpringComz have been included in this quarter's consolidated results, and revenues from JustPlay are expected to be reflected starting in the second quarter.
