Choi Haejin Aims to Shed Her Winless Label This Time
Challenging for First LPGA Victory at Kroger Queen City Championship
No Wins Since 2022 Debut, Best Result is Runner-Up
Riding Momentum After Third Place Finish at Mizuho Americas Open Last Week
World No. 15 Choi Haejin is once again challenging for her first career victory.
Choi Haejin will compete in the Kroger Queen City Championship on the LPGA Tour, which will be held over four days starting May 14 (local time) at the Kenwood Country Club (par 70, 6,416 yards) in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, with a total prize fund of 2 million dollars. Since debuting on the LPGA Tour in 2022, she has yet to claim a win. Her best finishes as a full member have been runner-up placements at the 2022 CP Women's Open, last year's Maybank Championship, and the Meijer LPGA Classic.

View original imageLast season, Choi Haejin demonstrated remarkable consistency, ranking 8th in both prize money and CME points on the LPGA Tour. This season, she has played in 10 tournaments and recorded three top-10 finishes. After making the top 10 twice early in the season, she experienced a bit of a slump, but rebounded last week by tying for third place at the Mizuho Americas Open—her best result this year. She is determined to carry this momentum forward and break her winless streak.
