View original imageThe National Palace Museum of Korea and the Presidential Archives will sign a work agreement on May 12 to jointly host a special exhibition commemorating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, titled "Gifts and Records: 140 Years of Korea-France Friendship."
The exhibition will be held at the National Palace Museum of Korea from June 3 to August 2. It will showcase gifts and records exchanged between the leaders of both countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1886. The exhibition will feature 33 items from 17 collections owned by the Presidential Archives, ranging from gifts exchanged between King Gojong of Joseon and President Sadi Carnot of France to gifts given and received by subsequent presidents of Korea and France.

From August 14 to September 13, the exhibition will move to the Sejong Presidential Archives for a traveling display.
