'Celebrating the 80th Anniversary'... Kyung Seo Yeji and Na Taejoo to Perform at Chosun University Rose Week
Held May 14-17 Under the Theme of "The Infinite-th Rose"
In celebration of its 80th anniversary, Chosun University will host the ‘2026 Rose Week’ from May 14 to 17 at the Rose Garden on campus, featuring singer Kyung Seo Yeji and Na Taejoo as the opening performers for the event’s concerts and experience programs.
According to Chosun University on May 11, this year’s Rose Week will be held under the theme of “The ∞ (Infinite)th Rose” to commemorate the university’s 80th anniversary. A variety of concerts, exhibitions, and citizen participation experience programs are scheduled to take place throughout the Rose Garden.
On the opening day, May 14, singers Kyung Seo Yeji and Na Taejoo will take the stage for a celebratory performance, marking the grand start of Rose Week. The event will also feature a Taekwondo performance and busking sessions.
On May 15, cultural and artistic performances will continue, including a reading play of “Aladdin” by the Department of K-Culture & Planning, as well as band club performances, offering a diverse range of cultural experiences for both citizens and students visiting the Rose Garden.
On May 16, the Rose Garden and its surroundings will transform into a citizen-participatory cultural space, with demonstration performances by the Department of Taekwondo, dance and magic club shows, and more.
Throughout the event, a busking stage will be set up, along with various citizen participation programs such as the Wish Plaza, mini rose pot planting for companion plants, and the Rose Urban Sketch Festa. In addition, the Chosun University Museum of Art will host a special exhibition titled “Strolling Through the Garden” to commemorate the 80th anniversary, offering a unique spatial experience that blends the campus with art.
