On May 11, CJ CheilJedang announced that it operated a Bibigo booth at "KCON JAPAN 2026," a global K festival created by K-pop fans and artists, which took place over three days from May 8 to May 10 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The company held a variety of programs at the booth, allowing visitors to experience the taste and enjoyment of K-food.
This year’s Bibigo booth was designed under the concept of "Happy Bibigo Day" in collaboration with K-pop artist ZEROBASEONE. The booth combined the team color "blue" of the artist with the Bibigo logo in its design, and a large cake object was installed at the entrance, fitting the birthday party theme.

According to CJ CheilJedang, long queues formed in front of the food truck throughout all three days. During the event, CJ CheilJedang provided around 20,000 K-food items.
CJ CheilJedang has designated Japan as a new strategic region for "global K-food expansion" and, in September last year, invested about 100 billion won to complete a new dumpling factory in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture. This is the first local production facility built by a Korean food company in Japan, producing "Bibigo dumplings" on state-of-the-art production lines and supplying them throughout Japan.
Notably, the new product "Bibigo Mandu Gyoza," launched after the Chiba plant began full-scale operations, achieved approximately 700 million won in sales during its first month after release in March this year, and quickly entered over 6,000 major local distribution channels. As a result, Bibigo dumplings reached a 10% market share in Japan for the first time as of March 2026.
