Yongsan District Provides 220 Million Won in Support to 60 High School Students Through "Togetherwe" Project

Yongsan District in Seoul announced on the 10th that it held the certificate awarding ceremony for the youth self-reliance support project "Togetherwe" at the cultural lecture room of the district office on the 8th. A total of 220 million won in support funds will be delivered to 60 high school students selected as this year's beneficiaries.

View original imageThe selected recipients include 30 academically outstanding high school students and 30 high school students preparing for self-reliance by obtaining certifications. Around 70 people, including the beneficiaries and their parents, attended the ceremony.
The "Togetherwe" project is a youth support initiative that has been operated since 2017 with funding from an anonymous benefactor. The project provides support for housing expenses for young people who have left child care facilities, educational expenses for academically outstanding youth, and certification acquisition support, enabling youth in need to prepare for their futures in a stable manner.
The award ceremony was hosted by the Yongsan Welfare Foundation and proceeded with congratulatory remarks from Heeyoung Park, Mayor of Yongsan District, greetings from Manho Seung, Chairman of the Yongsan Welfare Foundation, certificate awarding, and a commemorative photo session.
