Joint Discovery of Promising Cultural Content Companies
Establishing a Tailored Support System
Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced on May 8 that it has signed a comprehensive partnership memorandum of understanding with the Korea Entertainment Producers Association (KEPA) to support outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the media content industry and investment sector.

View original imageThis agreement aims to identify SMEs in the media content sector with strong technological capabilities and growth potential, and to provide tailored support, thereby revitalizing the cultural content ecosystem and fostering new growth industries.
Under the agreement, KEPA will identify and recommend promising companies in the cultural industry sector that demonstrate strong planning capabilities and growth potential to Kibo. In turn, Kibo plans to strengthen the business foundation of these recommended companies by providing financial support such as cultural industry completion guarantees and investment linkages, as well as non-financial support including venture and INNOBIZ certifications and technology assessments.
