Jangseong County Announces Changes to Health Center Medical Service Schedules
Considering Local Medical Demand:
Six "Maintenance-Type" Centers and Four "Integrated-Type" Centers Reorganized
Jangseong County is reorganizing its public health centers, taking into account local medical demand. As part of a pilot project to restructure regional public health institutions in accordance with government policy, the county will change the medical service schedule at its health centers starting this month.
On May 7, the county announced that it would reorganize the existing health centers into six "maintenance-type" centers and four "integrated-type" centers, based on local conditions and medical demand.
The "maintenance-type" centers will continue the current system, with public health physicians providing rotating medical services. These include the Jangbuk (Tuesday and Thursday), Jinwon (Monday and Thursday), Nammyeon (Tuesday and Friday), Samgye (Wednesday), Bugi (Wednesday), and Bukha (Monday and Friday) health centers.
The "integrated-type" centers include the Donghwa (Monday and Thursday), Samseo (Monday and Wednesday), Seosam (Tuesday and Wednesday), and Bukil (Tuesday and Thursday) health centers, where designated public health officials will conduct rotating medical services.
At both "maintenance-type" and "integrated-type" centers, residents can receive traditional Korean medicine treatment from public health physicians on specific days. Residents wishing to receive traditional medicine services can check the schedule on the Jangseong County website or contact the Health Policy Division for further information.
