S-OIL Provides 150 Million Won in Support to Environmental Social Enterprises
Support for Business Funding and Popup Store Operations
S-OIL announced on May 7 that it held a donation ceremony at its headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, where it delivered a total of 150 million won to support a social enterprise grant program.
This donation will be used as business funding for five environmental social enterprises selected through the Yeolmae Nanum Foundation, as well as to support the operation of popup stores and the sharing of performance results.
Since 2022, S-OIL has supported a total of 25 social enterprises, contributing to the creation of social value as part of its ESG management initiatives.
The companies selected through this year’s grant program are: ReVation, which develops eco-friendly material-based products; Brownskin, which produces regenerated leather goods using agro-food byproducts; Shell Corporation, which manufactures outdoor apparel using upcycled fabric restoration techniques; Anakia, which makes safety shoes from used tires; and Sonkkeut, which creates growing containers from waste textiles.
