Ho Sung Song, President of Kia, stated, "This award is a result of Kia's ongoing efforts to offer vehicles that achieve a balanced combination of design, technology, and practicality," adding, "The Seltos is a key model that strengthens Kia's position in the rapidly growing Indian market."
The All-New Seltos combines authentic SUV styling with futuristic design elements to create a robust yet sophisticated image. Based on the K3 platform, it has significantly improved ride comfort, suspension performance, and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) levels to deliver a smoother and more refined driving experience.
In terms of safety, the All-New Seltos received high scores in the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP), India's new car safety assessment program, earning 31.70 points for adult occupant protection (out of a possible 32) and 45.00 points for child occupant protection (out of a possible 49), achieving a five-star rating.
This represents the highest level of safety performance among internal combustion engine SUVs launched in India, further solidifying the Seltos's reputation as a "safe SUV."
Since its launch in India in January 2026, the All-New Seltos has maintained steady sales, averaging over 10,000 units per month and reaching a cumulative total of 42,554 units, receiving strong support from local customers.
