Through the agreement, the two organizations will jointly plan and operate customized economic and financial education programs for people with developmental disabilities and will mutually connect and support educational resources and infrastructure to activate practical, experiential field education.
KB Financial Group is also actively engaged in support activities for public officials and their families who have dedicated themselves to upholding the rule of law and social safety.
In March, Yang Jonghee, Chairman of KB Financial Group and Chairman of the Foundation, personally attended the business agreement ceremony for academic support for Ministry of Justice officials who died in the line of duty or were injured on duty, and their children. Chairman Yang stated his commitment to continuing the foundation's responsible role in finance, centered on scholarship projects and financial education.
A representative from KB Financial Group said, "Through this agreement, we have established a foundation to provide practical support for the economic independence of people with developmental disabilities in the community. We will continue to pursue social contribution projects for marginalized groups such as people with developmental disabilities."
