The Financial Supervisory Service announced on April 27 that it will select approximately 100 financial consumer reporters in order to identify trends in the financial field and gather relevant information from the perspective of financial consumers.
The selected reporters will be required to submit reports to the Financial Supervisory Service once or twice a month, analyzing major financial issues, as well as trends in the financial market and among consumers. The activity period will last for one year. For outstanding reports each quarter, an activity allowance of up to 200,000 won will be provided. After the activities conclude, all results will be comprehensively evaluated in order to select outstanding reporters, and a certificate will be issued under the name of the Director General of Consumer Protection and Supervision.
