The Iseo-myeon area of Cheongdo County marked the vibrant beginning of spring in 2026 with its first rice planting ceremony and voluntary environmental clean-up activities by local residents.
The Cheongdo County Council, led by Chairman Jeon Jongyul, attended the "First Rice Planting Ceremony in Cheongdo County in 2026" held in Geumchon-ri, Iseo-myeon on the 21st, expressing hopes for a bountiful harvest and increased income for farming households.

Participants personally demonstrated and experienced the planting of 'Haedam Rice,' an early-maturing variety, sharing a moment of communication as they wished for a disaster-free year and a fruitful harvest.
Chairman Jeon Jongyul stated, "Agriculture is the foundation and most important industry of Cheongdo," adding, "The Cheongdo County Council will continue to provide support to strengthen agricultural competitiveness and improve farm household incomes."
