Superlawyer Academy is a platform that provides an integrated educational program designed to help users understand the fundamental principles of AI and enhance their ability to utilize AI effectively in legal practice. While there have previously been various courses introducing the use of legal AI services and related technologies, this is the first time a systematic educational platform has been established to comprehensively integrate both theory and practice.
Since launching Korea’s first legal AI service, Superlawyer, in 2024, Law&Company has introduced practical applications of legal AI to users through a range of online and offline courses. Beginning in 2025, the company has also actively conducted AI literacy courses for lawyers and future legal professionals by entering into work agreements with local bar associations and the Law School Association.
Superlawyer Academy draws on Law&Company’s years of experience operating legal AI courses and feedback from practitioners, covering a wide range of topics from the technical understanding of AI and responsible usage to real-world case studies. The full set of courses consists of a certificate program to build understanding of AI technology and webinar videos introducing practical use cases.
The newly released certificate course, the AI Basic Course "Superlawyer Certificate Course," includes essential information required for the safe use of AI in the legal field. All content was planned and produced directly by the Law&Company Legal Content Center, comprised of legal professionals, and underwent review by the Legal AI Lab, which researches and develops cutting-edge legal AI technologies.
The lectures cover eight topics: Legal Practice AI Literacy, The Role of AI in Legal Practice, How AI Works, Responsible Use of AI, Prompt Engineering, Output Verification, Strategies for Collaboration Between Lawyers and AI, and more. Separate assessments are provided at both the midpoint and conclusion of each course to verify what has been learned, and members who complete the entire curriculum receive a digital certificate to use as documentation of their AI capabilities.
Superlawyer Academy courses are available free of charge to all Superlawyer members, who can access them via the "Superlawyer Academy" menu at the top of the login page. The digital certificate provided in the certificate course is issued only to members who have undergone a separate professional verification process.
Law&Company plans to further develop Superlawyer Academy into a platform that offers cutting-edge technical expertise and makes a practical contribution to strengthening professional competitiveness by adding advanced AI technologies and additional use cases. In doing so, the company aims to lead the expansion of a culture of responsible AI usage.
