ElevenLabs Provides Voice AI Solution to Caring... Strengthening AI-Powered Senior Care
Aiming to Serve 20,000 Seniors Next Year
Plans for Global Expansion with Multilingual Capabilities
ElevenLabs, an artificial intelligence (AI) audio company, announced on April 21 that it is expanding its 'AI Mind Care' service in collaboration with Caring.
Caring is a leading senior care company in Korea, providing a service where AI regularly calls and converses with elderly individuals living alone. Through home-visit care and day-care centers, the company cares for approximately 12,000 seniors. It directly operates 60 centers nationwide, employs about 900 staff members, and maintains a pool of more than 60,000 care workers.
The adoption of the ElevenLabs Agent Platform began in October last year, aiming to boost seniors' self-esteem through voice AI and reduce the workload on care workers. In the first pilot project, which continued through the end of the year, the company achieved a 100% call completion rate, a 0% call refusal rate, and an average call duration of 4 minutes and 22 seconds (with the longest call lasting 10 minutes). In the second pilot conducted earlier this year, a total of 120 outgoing calls were made, with results surpassing the target call duration (an average of 5 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes).
The platform is recognized for its strengths, such as natural Korean pronunciation and honorifics, emotional expressions, and low-latency performance that maintains conversational flow even when speaking slowly. It also enables rapid prototyping centered around planners and delivers consistent performance in healthcare environments. Based on these strengths, Caring plans to expand its service to 2,000 people this year and to 20,000 people next year. With its multilingual scalability, the company is also exploring global expansion.
