Korea Exchange to Hold "National University Student Securities and Derivatives Competition"
The Korea Exchange announced on April 20 that it will hold the "22nd National University Student Securities and Derivatives Competition" and will accept research proposals until June 5.
This competition has been held annually since 2005 to discover innovative ideas and outstanding talent necessary for the development of the capital market. Winners of the competition will receive preferential treatment in the document screening stage when applying for a position at the Korea Exchange for the next five years.
The Korea Exchange will select up to 10 teams that submit outstanding research proposals, granting them an opportunity to participate in the final round and providing a set amount of research funding. The research conducted by the finalist teams will then be evaluated, and awards will be given to the best works.
Eligibility is limited to undergraduate students at four-year domestic universities (including students on leave of absence, excluding graduate students). Teams must be formed with up to four undergraduate students from the same university.
