UAE to Reopen Schools After 7 Weeks... 'Return to Normalcy' Amid US-Iran End-of-War Talks
In-person Classes at All School Levels to Resume from April 20
University Entrance Exams to Proceed as Scheduled
As discussions for an end to hostilities between the United States, Israel, and Iran are underway, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to normalize school operations.
According to Bloomberg News on April 17 (local time), the UAE Ministry of Education announced that, after completing safety inspections, in-person classes at all levels of schools will resume starting on April 20.
This comes about seven weeks after schools across the country were closed following Iran's retaliatory attack on March 2. As a result, the previously uncertain university entrance exam schedule will also proceed as planned next month.
