View original imageJoon-sang Cho, the newly appointed executive, joined Hyundai Motor Company in 1993 and has worked for about 32 years, gaining extensive experience in global product planning, brand strategy, marketing, and overseas business. He is recognized as a sales and marketing expert.
From 2022, Cho served as the CEO of Hyundai Mobility Japan, Hyundai Motor Company's Japanese subsidiary, where he led the company's re-entry into the Japanese market. During this period, he successfully established a local business model dedicated to electric vehicles. Until recently, he was Head of Domestic Product Marketing, where he spearheaded the development of mid- to long-term marketing strategies focused on electrified models and the expansion of new customer touchpoints.
At Renault Korea, Cho will be responsible for concretizing and communicating the futuREady plan from a sales and marketing perspective, as recently announced by President Nikola Paris. This plan includes the launch of the first Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) in 2027, the production and release of Renault's next-generation electric vehicles in 2028, and the introduction of a new electrified model each year through 2029.

Joon-sang Cho graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Applied Statistics and earned a master's degree in Economics from Yonsei University Graduate School.
