Jaehyun Joo, Former Bank of Korea Reserve Management Head, Appointed as New CRO of KIC
Appointed as Executive Vice President for a Three-Year Term
Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) has appointed Jaehyun Joo, former Head of the Reserve Management Group at the Bank of Korea, as the new Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Executive Vice President of its Investment Management Division.
On April 17, KIC announced that this appointment was made following a review by its Executive Committee.
The new CRO, Joo, will begin his three-year term starting from this day. He joined Korea Ratings·KR in 1999 and moved to the Bank of Korea in December 2005. Since then, he has served as the Head of the Investment Strategy Team, Head of the Investment Planning Team, Head of the Reserve Planning Department, and Head of the Reserve Management Group.

The new CRO, Joo, stated, "Based on my experience and expertise in the international finance sector, I will work to advance KIC's investment management system and help strengthen the foundation for long-term and stable asset management."
