Jinju City in South Gyeongsang Province held the "2026 Mental Health Crisis Response Agency Heads Meeting" in the situation room at city hall on April 14.
This meeting was organized to respond more effectively to the recent increase in mental health crises and to strengthen the community’s safety net.
On this day, heads of major related agencies, including the police station, fire station, Office of Education Support, and Jinju Psychiatric Hospital, attended the meeting. They shared updates on the current state of mental health crisis response and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation systems.

Park Ildong, Deputy Mayor of Jinju City, stated, “Responding to mental health crises is difficult for any single agency to solve alone, so close cooperation among related organizations is more important than anything else. We will continue our efforts to ensure that these discussions lead to a practical cooperation system that works in the field.”
