MGEN Solution Selected for Government Project on AI-Based Fire Prediction and Suppression... Accelerating Next-Generation Firefighting Technology
AI disaster safety solution company MGEN Solution, together with its subsidiary Hyundai Infracore, has begun developing next-generation fire response technology.
On April 14, MGEN Solution announced that Hyundai Infracore's project, "Development of a Mobile All-In-One Integrated Module Based on Multi-Sensor and AI SoC for Fire and Gas Risk Prediction and Explosion-Proof Firefighting Equipment," has been selected as a government-supported initiative.
This project focuses on advancing existing AI-based fire detection and suppression technologies, aiming to secure customized disaster response capabilities tailored to the environment and characteristics of industrial sites.
MGEN Solution is currently developing an All-In-One module based on a multi-sensor that combines thermal imaging, visible light, and gas sensors. This technology can be utilized even in unstructured work environments, simultaneously detecting various risk factors and using edge-based AI analysis to predict fire and gas hazards in advance. The company explained that this approach can reduce unnecessary false alarms and enhance response efficiency.
A company representative stated, "This technology, which combines multi-sensors and AI, is focused on predicting risks in advance rather than simple detection," adding, "Our goal is to ensure both the precision and reliability required at industrial sites."
In particular, this project will also develop firefighting equipment capable of operating in explosion-proof zones. The technology is designed to simultaneously address fire and gas risks in environments with high explosion hazards, and it is expected to significantly raise safety levels at high-risk industrial sites.
MGEN Solution has previously supplied related solutions to public institutions, large enterprises, and small and medium-sized businesses. Recently, the company has completed implementation at manufacturing sites such as automotive parts factories and is continuing to expand adoption.
