Woomi Construction to Supply 1,679 Units of 'Jungheung S-Class Umi Lin' in Yeosu Soje District
Model Home to Be Set Up in the Woongcheon-dong Area
On April 8, Woomi Construction announced that, together with Jungheung Construction, it will supply 1,679 units of the Yeosu Soje Jungheung S-Class Umi Lin, a price-capped apartment complex offered at a lower price than surrounding market rates, in the Soje District of Yeosu, Jeollanam-do.
Yeosu Soje Jungheung S-Class Umi Lin is the first apartment complex to be launched in the Soje District, a newly emerging residential area in Yeosu. The development spans two blocks, A3 and A4, and consists of 21 buildings ranging from five basement levels to 25 floors above ground, with a total of 1,679 units. In terms of unit composition, Block A3 will feature 1,095 units: 878 units with an exclusive area of 84 square meters, 181 units of 109 square meters, and 36 units of 135 square meters. Block A4 will contain 584 units of 84 square meters. All units are primarily oriented to the south, and due to the proximity to the sea, some units offer ocean views.
Within walking distance from the complex is Anshim Elementary School, and an additional elementary school is planned to be built within the Soje District. Various lifestyle and cultural facilities, including Hanaro Mart, Yeosu City Hall, Yeosu Ssangbong City Library, and CGV cinema, are nearby. In terms of transportation, it is convenient to travel to the city center via Soho-ro and Ssangbong-ro, and the complex is close to Local Road 22, providing quick access to Suncheon. KTX Yeocheon Station and Yeosu Intercity Bus Terminal are also easily accessible.
For Woomi Construction, a mid-sized builder founded in Gwangju, Yeosu holds special significance. Woomi Construction first entered Yeosu in 2000 with Soho District Umi Oceanville, followed by Umi Inosville in 2002 and Yeosu Jangseong Umi Lin in 2004. Yeosu was the first region outside Gwangju where the company expanded. Despite this period coinciding with the financial crisis and an economic downturn, Woomi Construction accurately identified a supply shortage and successfully completed its sales, which served as a stepping stone for further expansion into the Seoul metropolitan area.

This project, which will add more waterfront and recreational spaces, is scheduled for completion in August 2027, meaning that by the time residents move in, the seaside walking environment will be greatly expanded. The complex itself will also feature convenient facilities for residents such as an indoor golf practice range, a climbing zone, a fitness center, and a small library.
