The Ultimate 911 Model Featuring Bi-Turbo T-Hybrid Performance

Porsche is officially launching the new top-of-the-line model of its iconic 911 series, the “new 911 Turbo S,” in Korea.

Porsche Korea announced on April 7 that the 911 Turbo S will be available in both coupe and cabriolet variants, with deliveries to domestic customers starting in May.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S, renowned for its outstanding performance, long-distance comfort, luxurious design, and everyday practicality, has continually set new standards for sports cars through relentless innovation. The newly released 911 Turbo S further elevates these benchmarks in every aspect, carrying on its great legacy.

The new 911 Turbo S is equipped with a newly developed high-performance powertrain, delivering a total system output of 711 horsepower (PS) and a maximum torque of 81.6 kg·m, making it the most powerful production 911 to date. Its innovative, lightweight T-hybrid system with a 400V system offers 61 PS more than the previous generation, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and achieving a top speed of 322 km/h.

In particular, the combination of two electric exhaust gas turbos (eTurbo) with a new 3.6-liter boxer engine provides instant responsiveness and explosive acceleration. The car posted a lap time of 7 minutes 3.92 seconds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, about 14 seconds faster than its predecessor.

The new tires further enhance handling on dry surfaces while maintaining stable performance on wet roads. The rear axle features 325/30 ZR 21 tires, which are 10mm wider than before, while the front axle is fitted with 255/35 ZR 20 tires, the same as the previous model.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with electronically hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC), Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive system, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), providing exceptional stability and agility for both track driving and everyday use. The new intelligent active aerodynamics system optimally controls cooling performance and air resistance depending on driving conditions.

The new 911 Turbo S reflects Porsche’s cross-series Turbo design strategy. The exclusive Turbo Night (Turbonite) color, reserved for Turbo models, is applied to the crest, the “Turbo S” lettering on the rear, and the slats of the rear wing. Compared to the Carrera models, the wider body and track, air intakes in the rear side section, and titanium exhaust system further emphasize this flagship model’s distinctiveness.

The interior also features Turbonite color accents, with color highlights on the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard, and around the center console to reinforce the Turbo model’s identity. Carbon structure trim strips combined with Neodyme trim and a perforated ultra-microfiber headliner complete the luxurious design. The car is also equipped with adaptive 18-way Sports Seat Plus, with “Turbo S” lettering embossed on the headrests. The exclusive Turbo S embossing on the seat surfaces and door panels offers a modern reinterpretation of the original 911 Turbo 930 design.

Other standard features include innovative lighting functions such as tinted HD Matrix LED headlights for enhanced nighttime safety. The sports chrono package with tire temperature display, specially tuned PASM suspension, PDCC electronic hydraulic roll support, and titanium sports exhaust system are also standard equipment.
