"This Spring, Fall for Guri's Blossoms"... Guri City Hosts Short-Form Video Contest Until the 30th
Spring Blossom Content Created by Citizens
Anticipating Widespread Sharing on Social Networking Services
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province announced on April 3 that it will accept submissions for the "2026 Guri City Short-Form Video Contest: 'This Spring, Fall for Guri's Blossoms'" until April 30. The contest aims to effectively promote the newly launched spring flower festival, the "Jangja Lake Cherry Blossom Festival," and strengthen communication with citizens.
This contest has been organized to showcase Guri City's spring flower tourism resources through creative video content produced by citizens and to attract more visitors to the festival.
The contest theme is content that freely expresses the charm of Guri City's spring flowers. Anyone can participate with a vertical video of up to 60 seconds. The submission period runs from April 1 to 24:00 on April 30.
Citizens wishing to participate should fill out and submit an online application form, and then separately send the video file via email. For fair evaluation, the city will conduct a document review by the relevant department and a content review by a panel of internal and external experts. Entries will be assessed comprehensively based on theme relevance, completeness, interest, creativity, and applicability.
The final winners will be announced on the city website on May 28, with a total of 8 individuals (or teams) receiving a combined prize of 3 million won and an award from the Mayor of Guri. The winning works will be actively used to promote the city as they will be posted on Guri City's official social networking service (SNS) channels and website.
