Gyeongsan City Museum Selected for KB Financial Group Free Admission Project
Operated Under the Theme "Gyeongsan's Time, Culture Connected by Citizens" Until June
The Gyeongsan City Museum (Mayor Cho Hyunil) announced that it has been selected for the "Free Admission Project for National Public Art Museums and Museums" promoted by KB Financial Group, and will operate experiential education programs for children through adults.
This project is a cultural welfare initiative supported by KB Financial Group, providing free museum admission and experience programs to visitors who receive an admission or experience ticket through the KB Star Banking app, with the costs covered by KB Financial Group.
Through this project, the Gyeongsan City Museum aims to go beyond its existing free admission policy to offer citizens a richer cultural experience, especially providing opportunities for children and adolescents to naturally understand the region's history and culture.
As a result of being selected for this project, the Gyeongsan City Museum will offer educational programs such as "Gyeongsan's Time in the Forest" for children, "Gyeongsan History and Culture Exploration Team" for adolescents, and "Gyeongsan in My Memory: Capturing My Memories" for adults.
These programs will be held at the Gyeongsan City Museum from March to June 2026, with each session accommodating approximately 20 to 30 participants.
Participants will learn about Gyeongsan's culture and way of life, and develop an interest in regional culture through hands-on activities.
Those wishing to participate can apply through the Gyeongsan City Museum website starting today. After submitting an application, participants must receive an experience ticket through the "National Wallet" in the KB Star Banking app.
On the day of the class, participation will be confirmed on site.
Kim Jeonggi, Director of the Gyeongsan City Museum, stated, "Being selected for this KB Financial Group project is a meaningful opportunity to expand the cultural and educational role of local public museums. We will continue to operate diverse programs so that all citizens can easily enjoy culture and education."
