The main objective of this project is to go beyond simple knowledge delivery and establish a structure in which citizens directly lead AI education within their community. The program is organized into progressive stages, ranging from basic courses to instructor training and corporate-tailored education.

To start, a "Basic Literacy Education for AI" course will be provided for citizens interested in specialized AI training. This introductory course focuses on the concepts and ethics of generative artificial intelligence, technology trends, and the fundamentals of creative production.

The "Basic Literacy Education for AI" will be held at two locations: the AI Lab at the Hwaseong City Hall AI Innovation Center (708 Namyang-ro, Namyang-eup, Manse-gu, Hwaseong Special City, Gyeonggi Province, Smart City Center) and the training center of the Little Universe Social Cooperative (65 Dongtan Sinricheon-ro 2-gil, Dongtan-gu, Hwaseong Special City, Gyeonggi Province, Social Enterprise Space). The AI Lab at the AI Innovation Center will hold sessions on April 13 and April 20, while the Little Universe Social Cooperative training center will operate on April 11 and April 18. Registration begins on March 25 and will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis.

After the basic course, an advanced "AI Citizen Leader Training Course" will follow. This program will be held from May 4 to July 25, with the aim of developing citizen instructors capable of delivering actual lectures. Training will take place at both the AI Lab at the Hwaseong City Hall AI Innovation Center and the Little Universe Social Cooperative training center. The application period runs from April 6 to April 20.

Participants who successfully complete the training and pass the certification assessment will be granted the "AI Citizen Leader (Instructor)" qualification, which will be linked to educational opportunities at local schools, businesses, and public institutions.

Additionally, an "On-site Corporate Training" program targeting local companies will be offered. This customized AI training addresses the specific needs of businesses in Hwaseong Special City, covering topics such as practical use of generative AI, work automation, and data analysis. Applications will be accepted continuously from March through June and will close on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected companies will receive on-site training based on mutual agreement.

Park Seunghyun, Head of the AI Smart Strategy Office, stated, "We have launched this project to establish a virtuous cycle structure where citizens become the main agents of education and lead the digital transformation, beyond merely accepting AI technology," and added, "We hope for active participation from both citizens seeking to strengthen their AI capabilities and companies in need of practical applications."
