View original imageThe recent inspections were carried out in the areas around Wongok Underpass and Wadong Park, where complaints about illegal parking of large vehicles have been continuously raised. The purpose was to directly assess the situation on-site and to devise measures to ensure traffic safety and improve the living environment.
The city focused on checking whether illegal parking was obstructing vehicle traffic and endangering pedestrian safety, while also conducting guidance activities for drivers to establish proper parking order.
Ansan City plans to implement continuous crackdowns and management measures, particularly in areas where complaints occur repeatedly.
Mayor Lee Mingun stated, "Illegal parking of large vehicles can impede traffic flow and affect pedestrian safety. By combining on-site inspections, guidance, and crackdowns, we will work to minimize inconvenience for residents and create a safer traffic environment."
