These robots feature interactive functions that read books to children in an engaging manner, tailored to their level of understanding.
In particular, starting this month, 'LUCA' began offering a device lending service to local kindergartens and daycare centers, attracting significant interest with applications for the first half of the year closing early.
Additionally, the children's section is equipped with a learning space utilizing the digital learning system 'MilkT', providing a variety of educational content linked to the school curriculum. Through this, the library is expanding its role beyond a simple reading area to a digital, experience-based learning space.
Furthermore, beginning in April, a 'MilkT-Linked Reading and Essay Program' will be held every Saturday for a total of four sessions. By combining reading, discussion, and writing activities, the program aims to improve children's logical thinking and expressive skills, as well as support the development of self-directed learning capabilities.
Those interested in participating in the program can apply through the Ansan City integrated reservation system starting at 10 a.m. on March 24.
