In particular, the province will work with both online and offline distribution networks—such as online shopping malls, large supermarkets, and home shopping channels—to improve consumer accessibility to Gangwon’s agricultural and fishery specialty products and to expand nationwide sales.
This project will focus on expanding access to distribution and consumer markets, strengthening integrated marketing centered around key products, and increasing collaboration with online distribution channels.
In line with the peak harvest season, the province plans to promote consumption and increase farmers’ incomes by organizing special sales events and discount promotions that link large retail stores with online platforms.
This year’s project budget is set at 250 million won in provincial funds. Of this, 210 million won will be provided in the first round to six specific projects—including support for online sales channels, direct sales of agricultural products, and planned special sales—after reviewing demand and implementation plans by sector. An additional 40 million won will be allocated later to address further demand.
