Samsung Electronics' Medical Device Business Division and Samsung Medison announced on March 16 that they will unveil a wide range of next-generation ultrasound solutions at KIMES 2026, which will be held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul starting on March 19.
The "One Platform" ultrasound brand, which redefines Samsung's V Series, adopts a new architecture based on Samsung's high-performance semiconductor and computing technologies, enhancing the scalability of artificial intelligence (AI) features. One Platform offers customer value through consistent workflow, one-click solutions, and consistent results powered by AI technology. It is equipped with the Windows 11 operating system (OS), allowing for flexible adaptation to long-term functionality expansion and security updates.
Samsung Medison's ultrasound platform brand 'One Platform' redefines the V series of Samsung ultrasound diagnostic devices.

Functions such as Easy Structure and Easy Flow are designed for one-click operation, improving clinical efficiency. According to research, examination time is reduced by approximately 77%, and the number of keystrokes is reduced by about 83%. AI diagnostic assistance features such as Heart Assist and Nerve Track minimize variations in diagnostic results depending on user proficiency.
At KIMES 2026, Samsung will also unveil its new product, the "V4," for the first time in Korea. The V4 is the world's first fanless ultrasound system, eliminating the cooling fan, which has been cited as a major source of noise and failure in ultrasound equipment. Power consumption has also been reduced by approximately 35% compared to previous models. The company will also introduce the EVO Q10, a laptop-type ultrasound system with enhanced mobility.
In the field of digital X-ray, Samsung will present dual-energy imaging technology that increases diagnostic accuracy and reduces unnecessary CT scans. This technology automatically separates soft tissue and bone images in X-ray scans, reducing blind spots in the images caused by overlapping tissues.
