Busan-based local company Daesun Distilling Company has been recognized for its contributions to securing national finances and promoting community development through diligent tax payments.
On March 5, Daesun Distilling Company announced that it had received a commendation from the Minister of Economy and Finance at the "60th Taxpayers' Day Commemoration Ceremony" held at the Busan Regional Tax Office. The Busan Regional Tax Office organized this event to enhance the pride of exemplary taxpayers and to spread a culture of sincere tax compliance.
Daesun Distilling Company received high praise for its transparent accounting practices and faithful payment of taxes, which have contributed to fostering a sound tax-paying environment.
Daesun Distilling Company has also engaged in various cooperative activities with the Busan Regional Tax Office. In 2020, the company signed a "Financial Support for Workers and Child Tax Credit Promotion Agreement" and supported the government's tax administration policies by adding promotional messages to its product sub-labels.
Last year, the company participated in the "Find Your National Tax Refund" campaign. They included a message, "We are eagerly looking for the owner of the national tax refund," along with a QR code linking to the mobile Hometax national tax refund search page, on their products to help citizens claim unreceived refunds.
