Kookmin Bank Introduces Friday One-Hour Early Leave System
"Bank Business Hours to Remain '9 to 4'"
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 25th that it will introduce a system allowing employees to leave work one hour early on Fridays (a 4.9-day workweek), shortening Friday working hours by one hour.
The system will be implemented voluntarily starting on the 27th and will be fully implemented from the 6th of next month.
Kookmin Bank will maintain its branch business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Branches and specialized outlets with separately designated business hours, such as the 9To6 Bank and the Incheon International Airport branch, will also maintain their existing business hours.
Kookmin Bank explained that it introduced the system in line with government policy, in order to enhance employees' work-life balance and improve work productivity.
