Daiso Does It Again...Launching Sanitary Pads Priced at 100 Won Each
Collaboration with Klean Nara
Sales Planned for May
Aseong Daiso announced on the 24th that it will launch a new sanitary pad product priced at 1,000 won for 10 pads (100 won per pad) in partnership with Klean Nara.
The product will be 100% manufactured domestically by Klean Nara, and Aseong Daiso plans to begin sales in May. Aseong Daiso is currently selling Klean Nara sanitary pads at 2,000 won for a pack of 10 medium pads (200 won per pad), 1,000 won for a pack of 4 medium pads (250 won per pad), 2,000 won for a pack of 10 large pads (200 won per pad), and 1,000 won for a pack of 4 large pads (250 won per pad). Once the 100-won-per-pad product is launched, its price will be up to 60% lower than the prices of the products currently on sale.
In general, sanitary pads become cheaper per pad when bought in bulk, but Aseong Daiso has set the price at 1,000 won for a small pack of 10 pads so that customers can buy "only as much as they need, without financial burden." This is intended to allow anyone to purchase the product without hesitation, even if they cannot afford bulk purchases or need sanitary pads urgently.
