A Former Toss Developer Who Launched a Company After Running a Fashion Brand? 'AI Maestro' Erases Overtime for Shopping Mall Owners [AI Revolution](188)
Interview with Baibeoseu Founder and CEO Shin Jaein
"Just as the Pentagon partnered with the U.S. artificial intelligence (AI) data analytics company Palantir to successfully execute various operations, we too need a presence like Palantir. I hope that many Korean brands can establish a foundation for growth through AI."
Shin Jaein, CEO of Baibeoseu (see photo), expressed her ambition to become the Palantir for K-brands during an interview with The Asia Business Daily on February 22. She shared her vision to help Korean companies with competitive brands succeed through Baibeoseu's AI transformation (AX) solution.

Through its AX solution, "Maestro," Baibeoseu helps automate or improve efficiency across all corporate operations by integrating AI. Currently, the company supports AX primarily for clients in distribution sectors such as fashion and shopping.
Shin Jaein, who founded Baibeoseu, has a unique background as an engineer who also operated a fashion brand. After working as an engineer at Toss, she left the company and ran a fashion brand for about a year. She then founded Baibeoseu, which is now in its second year. Shin explained, "The innovation of AI has rapidly increased, and I realized that AI could handle many tasks in place of humans," adding, "I wanted to serve as a bridge to connect the power of AI to the retail and distribution sectors, which is why I started this company."
The strength of Maestro lies in its ability to learn about a brand and provide customized services for each client. Maestro learns from the brand's operational context, such as past sales performance and promotional campaigns. Since it understands and operates across all work processes, it can provide answers based on past records and even respond to complex questions.
There are also examples of clients who have achieved results after adopting Maestro. One client, after introducing Maestro for content marketing, achieved a three-month viewership target in just over a month. Another client in the commerce sector automated product detail pages during the renewal of their self-operated online store, reducing the time required for the renewal by more than one third.
Baibeoseu also plans to add new features to Maestro for marketing and inventory management. Shin said, "We are updating the system so that three functions—influencer marketing, content marketing, and performance marketing, which is currently being added—can be managed from a single dashboard," adding, "We will also update the system to link different data, such as inventory and marketing, for demand forecasting."
Shin also expressed her aspirations to expand into the global market. She said, "Based on the know-how we have developed in Korea, we want to create opportunities to offer our services globally," emphasizing, "Through Maestro, which serves as a brand OS, I want to become the Palantir for brands."
