Enjoy Krafton's "Subnautica" Series on Nintendo Switch 2
Graphics Enhanced for Upgraded Hardware Performance
"Subnautica 2" Set for Release Within the Year
Krafton announced on the 11th that it will release the open-world survival crafting games "Subnautica" and "Subnautica: Below Zero," developed by creative studio Unknown Worlds, for Nintendo Switch 2 on the 17th.
The two games have significantly improved graphics quality to match the enhanced hardware performance of Nintendo Switch 2. When connected to a TV via the Switch 2 dock, they run at a resolution of 1440p, and in handheld mode at 1080p. Both modes support a smooth 60 frames per second, delivering deep immersion. In addition, control features optimized for Nintendo Switch 2's controller, "Joy-Con 2," enable more precise and intuitive gameplay.
Users who already own the two games on Nintendo Switch can access the "Nintendo eShop" and download the upgrade pack for Nintendo Switch 2 at no additional cost.
Michael Valett, Producer at Unknown Worlds, said, "Subnautica is a work that goes beyond simple survival to explore communion with an unfamiliar world," adding, "It will offer new discoveries for existing fans and unforgettable shock for explorers who are diving in for the first time."
