Launch of Management Innovation Committee... Establishing a Sustainable Management System
The Gwangju Seo-gu Facilities Management Corporation has embarked on a sweeping organizational overhaul aimed at normalizing its management and achieving sustainable innovation.
Recently, the corporation established a Management Innovation Committee, a collaborative governance body involving the public sector, private sector, and experts, and has begun full-fledged innovation efforts to overcome its management crisis and improve its organizational structure.
The Management Innovation Committee is a "crisis-response, temporary body" formed to fundamentally strengthen the corporation's organizational competitiveness through comprehensive management reform. It consists of a total of 8 members, including 2 internal members and 6 external members, and brings together experts in public administration, safety, legal affairs, accounting, sports, and management and ESG.
The committee will, through regular quarterly meetings, provide strategic advice and set the direction for innovation on key management issues facing the corporation. It will also identify practical improvement tasks and continuously discuss mid- to long-term management strategies, as well as review and improvement measures for overall organizational operations.
In particular, the corporation plans to immediately reflect the recommendations and advisory opinions derived through the committee in its day-to-day management practices, while also establishing a "feedback system" that shares implementation results at subsequent meetings, in order to drive tangible change.
