This volunteer activity was held under the name "Delivering Love with Dumplings." It was organized ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to help ease the sense of isolation and financial burden of elderly people living alone and middle-aged and older residents in Seongbuk-gu, and to share warmth with neighbors in the local community.
The volunteer group personally made 100 servings of handmade dumplings and tteokguk (rice cake soup) kits for middle-aged and elderly residents in the area at the auditorium of the Seongbuk 50 Plus Center, and carefully packed food packages, adding to the spirit of sharing.
Yoon Moon-do, Head of the FC Sales Division at ABL Life, said, "It was a meaningful time as we were able to share our warm hearts with local seniors in celebration of Seollal, our nation's traditional holiday," adding, "This year as well, we will continue to devote our attention and efforts to creating a world where we live together with our neighbors in the local community."
