Pocheon City Launches "Lunar New Year Pocheon Love Refund (Payback)" for Local Agricultural and Specialty Products
Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th that it will implement the "Lunar New Year Pocheon Love Refund (Payback)" program to promote consumption of local agricultural and specialty products and to help revitalize the local economy during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The program will run from the 11th to the 28th, and any consumer who purchases agricultural and specialty products from Pocheon at a "Pocheongadeuk" agricultural and specialty products store during this period can take part.
The refund benefit is 10% of the purchase amount and is provided in the form of paper Pocheon Love Gift Certificates, up to a maximum of 30,000 won per person per day. The issued gift certificates can only be used at merchants within Pocheon City that accept paper Pocheon Love Gift Certificates, and the program will end early if the budget is exhausted.
The "Pocheongadeuk" agricultural and specialty products stores are operated at a total of two locations: the Hantangang Geo Store (415-2 Daehwesan-ri, Yeongbuk-myeon) and the Gangdong-gu Cheonho Branch (Unit 104, 1st floor, 7 Jinhwangdo-ro 23-gil, Gangdong-gu, Seoul Special City).

An official from Pocheon City said, "Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, this will be a great opportunity to purchase high-quality agricultural and specialty products from Pocheon at reasonable prices," adding, "We hope this refund event will not only increase farm household income but also contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
