KGM Launches "2026 Lunar New Year Vehicle Inspection Service"
Vehicle inspections at 321 service centers from the 11th to the 13th
KG Mobility (hereinafter KGM) announced on the 10th that it will implement the "2026 Lunar New Year Vehicle Inspection Service" to help ensure a safe journey home for customers visiting their hometowns during the Lunar New Year holiday.
This vehicle inspection service will be offered for three days from the 11th to the 13th at 321 service centers nationwide, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center, and will cover all KGM models, excluding large commercial vehicles.
The main inspection items include the battery; engine oil and any leakage of various oils; antifreeze; lighting system; air-conditioning system; brake and pad wear; tire wear and air pressure; coolant; heater and filter. These services are provided to ensure safe long-distance driving, and windshield washer fluid is refilled for customers once the inspection is completed.
In particular, for electric vehicle owners, KGM will also carry out a "Special Safety Inspection Service for Electric Vehicles" in addition to the basic inspection, which includes checks of the battery, heater cabin coolant, and drive motor coolant to ensure proper electric vehicle maintenance and support safe driving.
In addition, during the holiday period, KGM will operate emergency roadside assistance on a constant basis so that customers can receive help if driving becomes difficult due to a vehicle breakdown or accident, and they can receive prompt support from the nearest service center in an emergency.
A KGM representative said, "In winter, in addition to basic safe driving practices such as driving slowly and maintaining a sufficient safety distance, more meticulous attention is required for vehicle maintenance and inspection due to cold weather and snow," adding, "Before setting off on your journey home, we hope you will visit a service center to have potential issues caused by temperature changes or icy roads checked in advance, fully familiarize yourself with safe driving tips, and enjoy a happy visit to your hometown."
Meanwhile, KGM is not only providing regular services such as summer vacation and winter season vehicle inspections, but is also conducting special inspection services including flood-damaged vehicle checks and electric vehicle safety inspection campaigns. The company plans to continue expanding various vehicle inspection services to enhance safe vehicle operation and customer satisfaction.
